Baby Grows Up

One of the joys of being a baby photographer is that I get to witness and pay homage to the entire experience. Giving birth is a magical thing. Yes, that’s how we all got here and it’s common BUT the process of anticipating bringing a new soul into this world. Wondering who they will become. Looking forward to loving the little angels and watching them come into existence. It’s very powerful – and the new parents are always very excited, happy, and a little terrified.

For me, coming to your homes and photographing you as a couple while the baby is still inside of the womb is a great honor. What eclipses that honor is being the first professional photographer to photograph your newborn baby. And sometimes I get to watch them grow up a little. These are some of the many journeys I’ve had the absolute pleasure of witnessing.
